From January to June, China's fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) was 28,160.3 billion yuan, down 3.1 percent year on year, 3.2 percentage points lower than that from January to May. Among them, private fixed asset investment was 15,786.7 billion yuan, down 7.3 percent, narrowed 2.3 percentage points of decline. In June, fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) increased by 5.91 percent in terms of the month on month speed.
In term of different industries, the investment in the primary industry was 829.6 billion yuan, increased by 3.8 percent year-on-year, up 3.8 percentage points from January to May; the investment in the secondary industry was 8,501.1 billion yuan, down 8.3 percent, narrowed 3.5 percentage points of decline; the investment in the tertiary industry was 18,829.6 billion yuan, down 1.0 percent, narrowed 2.9 percentage points of decline.
In the secondary industry, industrial investment decreased by 7.4 percent year on year, 3.5 percentage points lower than that from January to May. Among them, the investment in mining industry decreased by 3.9 percent, 4.8 percentage points narrowed; the investment in manufacturing industry decreased by 11.7 percent, 3.1 percentage points narrowed; the investment in power, heat, gas and water production and supply industry increased by 18.2 percent, with the growth rate of 4.4 percentage points higher.
In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding power, heat, gas and water production and supply industries) decreased by 2.7 percent year on year, narrowed 3.6 percentage points of decline than that in the first five month. Among them, investment in water conservancy management industry increased by 0.4 percent, which was 2.0 percent of decrease in the first five months; the investment in public facilities management industry decreased by 6.2 percent, with a decrease rate of 2.1 percentage points; the investment in road transportation industry and in railway transportation industry increased by 0.8 and 2.6 percent, which was 2.9 and 8.8 percent of decrease in the first five months.
By region, investment in the eastern region decreased by 0.7 percent year-on-year, 3.3 percentage points lower than that from January to May; investment in the central region decreased by 11.9 percent, 3.2 percentage points lower; investment in the western and northeast region increased by 1.1 and 0.4 percent, which was 0.9 and 2.5 percent of decrease in the first five months.
According to the types of registration, the investment of domestic enterprises decreased by 3.4 percent year-on-year, 3.1 percentage points lower than that from January to May; the investment of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises, and foreign enterprises increased by 0.6 and 3.9 percent, while which was 4.4 and 0.2 percent of decrease in the first five months.
