From January to June, China's fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) was 25,590 billion yuan, up 12.6 percent year on year; It was 9.1 percent higher than that from January to June in 2019, with an average growth of 4.4 percent in two years. Among them, private investment in fixed assets was 14,795.7 billion yuan, up 15.4 percent year on year. On a month-on-month basis, investment in fixed assets (excluding rural households) increased by 0.35 percent in June.
By industry, the investment in the primary industry was 656.4 billion yuan, up 21.3 percent year on year; the investment in the secondary industry was 7,635.4 billion yuan, an increase of 16.3 percent; the investment in the tertiary industry was 17,298.2 billion yuan, an increase of 10.7 percent.
In the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 16.2 percent year on year. Among them, the investment in mining industry increased by 11.5 percent; investment in manufacturing increased by 19.2 percent; investment in the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 3.4 percent.
In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply) increased by 7.8 percent year-on-year. Among them, investment in water conservancy management increased by 10.7 percent; investment in public facilities management increased by 6.2 percent; investment in road transport industry increased by 6.5 percent; the investment in railway transportation industry increased by 0.4 percent.
By region, the investment in the eastern region increased by 11.2 percent year on year; investment in the central region increased by 22.3 percent; investment in the western region increased by 11.4 percent; investment in northeast China increased by 11.8 percent.
According to the types of registration, the investment of domestic enterprises increased by 12.4 percent year on year; the investment of enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan increased by 19.9 percent; the investment of foreign enterprises increased by 9.3 percent.
